Ang and I just came back from what now appears to be our weekly drive to the Montague area. We like the East... and tend to ignore the West. It happens every year, and I know that I realize it a hundred times every summer, but I can never get over how beautiful this Island is. I wonder if now, compared to later in the summer when the fields are perhaps less green from being dried out, it is even more beautiful. We had many other revelations tonight, including Ang's education regarding Vancouver, and our discovery about the loop that is Route 206/325.

Makes me look forward to the rest of this summer on PEI. I've started out well these past few weekends, with several trips to Peake's and a bonfire on Thursday. (never again on a Thursday though... not unless I have Friday off!!!) Last night was also fun, a more relaxed night of drinking (which didn't stop me from getting rather intoxicated... mmm sweet oblivion) and great chats.

I really want to go on some fun road trips this summer too... although I'm a little skeptical about whether or not they will happen. Halifax is definitely in order, at least once or twice (Halifax/Wolfville that is), and I'd love to get back to Woodstock to visit the Craig girls. A Mount A reunion in Moncton to see Heather would be really cool too.

Well, it's Sunday night. Time to get ready for another week at work. This week should be pretty good though... broken up nicely by the trip to the Valley on Tuesday/Wednesday. I want to go on the boat!!
